The vision string quartet is a remarkable young group.  Founded in 2012 and based in Berlin, they perform standing, entirely from memory. Playing a variety of disparate genres yet firmly rooted in the classical repertoire, these four young musicians are on a mission to address the way classical music is presented and perceived by both new and traditional audiences.  They have already won a remarkable number of prizes:  2016 saw them win first prize and all audience and special prizes at two major competitions, followed by the Würth Prize and the audience prize at yet another competition.  They have performed throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia.

'...amazingly vivacious, vivid and electrifying... the hot-blooded guys from the vision string quartet seem to be completely fearless'.  Der Tagesspiegel
