The lively and engaging Magnard Ensemble wind quintet was founded in 2012.  During the 2014/2015 season, the quintet simultaneously held a Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music, and the inaugural joint fellowship between the RAM Open Academy and Wigmore Hall Learning Programme. In 2017 they won a place on the Tillett Trust's Young Artists' Platform.  To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth last year, they constructed a "Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music" project celebrating Dahl's work through spoken word and music which they have performed around the country.  They are part of the Cavatina Trust's Ensemble scheme.

Note: At 6.30 pm there will be a pre-concert talk.  Details here.
