In 2025, the Scandinavian (3 Norwegian, 1 Swede) Opus13 won both the Wigmore String Quartet Competition and the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition, following that in 2026 by receiving the prestigious Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award. After performing at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, the Banff Festival and touring Japan, they are now playing in Lewes as part of their Wigmore prize winner’s tour!
